The Misbar Caramel Ocellaris is a luscious color variant of the Black Ocellaris, typically either missing their caudal stripe or having an incomplete center stripe. Occasionally they may have an incomplete head bar as well. The majority of our Misbar Caramels turn all the way black as they reach maturity but some don’t. Misbar Caramels aren’t exactly brown – they look more like regular orange A. ocellaris with an overlay of fine black mesh.
