ACI Blue Raven Blastomussa Merletti

The Merletti is known as the "small polyp" among Blastomussa species, the Merletti's corallites, or skeleton, measure 5-7 mm in size. Under optimal conditions, the polyps can extend up to 1/2", similar to a zoanthid. In the wild, most merletti species are found in areas with lower light and high turbulence. In reef aquariums, a high nutrient and low light environment is preferred for their thriving. Regular feeding is recommended.
